Today, we're brewing Bob's Brown Ale. Dad is a big brown ale fan. Me too. This will be the first to use our homegrown Galena and Willamette hops. Photos below.
Update: Brew went really well. The homegrown hops smelled awesome in the wort. Starting gravity was a little over over what we expected, which means the ABV will be around 6%. The yeast has been tearing through the wort. It's pushed through the airlock twice and it not screwing with my blow-off tube. I'm going to try to harvest and reuse this yeast for another batch.
